WHO IS A HEAVENLY MINDED PERSON?

A Christian whose mind and heart are always focus on the things of God. Until you become a believer, you cannot be a heavenly minded person, because, they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. Galatians 5:24

Colossians  3:1-2 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
Meaning that if you are not in Christ Jesus (a Christian, someone who has accepted Christ), all your mind and heart are on the things of the world.

CHARACTERISTICS OF A HEAVENLY MINDED PERSON

1. Always walks by the Spirit of God and exhibits His fruits.

Galatians  5:22-25 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

2. His/her focus is on the reward that awaits, in heaven and does not care whether he/she is appreciated or not.

a. The from of life; James 1:12, Revelations 2:10
b. The crown of righteousness; 2 Timothy 4:8
c. The from of glory; 1 Peter 5:4
d. The incorruptible crown; 1 Corinthians 9:25.

3. He/She is a soul winner

Proverbs  11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

Always fills the unbelievers with the streams of living waters that is flowing in him/her (John 7:38), because he/she is not shamed of the gospel (Romans 1:16), that is the great commission (Mark 16:15)

4. He or She is the word of God, ie. Learns, meditates and practice/live the word of God. (Joshua 1:8, Psalms 1:1-2, Deuteronomy 11:18-20, 1 Timothy 4:15)

5. Always uses the gifts God Has given him/herher. 1 Timothy 4:14

6. Presents him/herself as a living sacrifices and acceptable unto God. Romans 12:1.

7. Prepares in and out of season. (2 Timothy 4:2b, Ephesians 6:11-17)

8. Someone who corrects, rebuke and encourages with patience and careful instructions. 2 Timothy 4:2, 3:16.

9. Always seeks the counsel of God before making any move and does the will of God in him and others. Ephesians 2:10.

10. Always submissive to authority. (2 Peter 3:14)

11. Always selfless. 2 Peter 3:14

12. Prays always. Ephesians 6:18

13. Puts on the whole armour or God. Ephesians 6:13-17

YOU CAN ALSO BE A HEAVENLY MINDED PERSON  IF ONLY YOU ACCEPT CHRIST JESUS AS YOUR PERSONAL AND SAVIOR, PRACTICE THESE AND LIVE BY HIS EXAMPLE.
