[1]In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.
[14]So the Word became human and made his home among us...
The word that God spoke (Genesis 1:3 downwards) during creation, He said "Let there be......."
Joshua 1:8 says "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night......"
Psalms 1:2 also says, But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
We reareadd from Deuteronomy 11:18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. 11:19 And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. 11:20 And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates:
If someone can eat garlic to the extend that it will be smelling on his/her body from a distance, God also wants us to eat His word to the extend that our bodies will be smelling His word from afar (people should nice His word), every where we are located.
I agree withPastor Chris when he said "when you get the whole of it keep saying it don't stop talking it, keep saying it".
Meditate and Speak the word of God as if you are going crazy.
This is because God knew in the last days difficult times will come (2 Timothy 3:1), and if we don't have His word dwelling richly in us (if we are not the word) we will fall, and great is the fall of a rigtheous one. But when we have the word in us (we are the word) we will stand in this difficult days, overcome every trials and temptations, just like Christ Jesus, because He is the word, when tempted after His 40 days of fasting, He used the word to overcome the devil and he (devil) flee from Him (Mathew 4:3-11, Luke 4:3-12).
Remember the Lord your God in the days of your youth (Ecclesiastes 12:1). This is the time that we can meditate and become the word, a time is coming you can't.
