THE VISION OF THE MIND
This is where the lord “projects” images and pictures unto the ‘screen” of our minds. This can be called a ‘sanctified imagination’ as an imagination that is under the influence of the Holy Spirit.
THE OPEN VISIONS
This is whereby one sees an image with the natural eyes. They occur when the visionary is alert, awake and aware of his physical surroundings.
In open visions, men would be somewhere when suddenly they would be overtaken by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and then be “caught up”.
(Revelations 1:10, Ezekiel 1:3, Ezekiel 8, daniel7:1-3)
