PITFALLS TO ABRAHAM AND HIS DESCENDANTS 1. ABRAHAM a. He lied that his wife Sarah, was his sister, because she was fair and beautiful. Genesis 12:11-19, Genesis  12:11 And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou art a fair woman to look upon:  12:12 Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive.  12:13 Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee.  12:18 And Pharaoh called Abram, and said, What is this that thou hast done unto me? why didst thou not tell me that she was thy wife?  12:19 Why saidst thou, She is my sister? so I might have taken her to me to wife: now therefore behold thy wife, take her, and go thy way. b. Don’t allow negative experiences to shape your convictions about God’s ability! God’s Word should be the FINAL.
Being conscious of your covenant relationship with God empowers you to succeed, even against all odds.
You cannot be ORDINARY if you serve an EXTRAORDINARY God. He will work the miraculous in your life if you ONLY BELIEVE
Believe God’s Word to the extent that you ACT on it without hesitation. Keep believing until there is a change
Often times, I sit back and reflect on the blessings God has given me. God is great! I have amazing people in my life. I shouldn’t complain. What can you praise God for today?
If God said it in His Word, then He will do it. Don't lose heart because you have prayed several times, yet no answer has arrived. He is faithful and He will honor every request made in faith. God truly answers prayers!

WHO IS AN EARTHLY MINDED PERSON? A non beleiver or a Christian whose mind and heart are always focus on the things of the flesh/World. For jealousy and selfishness are not God’s kind of wisdom. Such things are earthly, unspiritual, and demonic. So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world. James 3:15, Colossian 3:5 NLT CHARACTERISTICS OF A EARTHLY MINDED PERSON 1. Always walks by the Flesh and exhibits His fruits. Galatians  5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,  Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things...
Lack  of  Foundation = Lack  of  Discernment 2 Timothy  4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; KJV If  I  placed  a  bowl  of  poison  in  front  of  you  and  said,  "Eat this," would  you eat it? WHO IS A HEAVENLY MINDED PERSON? A Christian whose mind and heart are always focus on the things of God. Until you become a believer, you cannot be a heavenly minded person, because, they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. Galatians 5:24 Colossians  3:1-2 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Meaning that if you are not in Christ Jesus (a Christian, someone who has accepted Christ), all your mind and heart are on the things of the world. CHARACTERISTICS OF A HEAVENLY MINDED PERSON 1. Always walks by the Spirit of God and exhibits His fruits. Galatians  5:22-25 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. WOMEN AND THEIR MINISTRY Ministry: A profession and service of a religious minister / person. Or the period of service of a religious minister / person. Do women even have ministry? Proverbs 31:10-30 The ministry if a woman or the ways in which women minsterare many, but I have classify them into two (2). 1. The Nature of God and the old and new Testaments. In the essence of the nature of god, He is eternal which indicates that He is alive forevermore. Through diverse forms, living object express themselves and do so convincingly (in the light of scripture). Speech or ability to communicate is a feature of God. In the Old Testament, expressions such as “thou saith the Lord” and “give heed to my instructions” abound more among the patriarchs and the prophets (and some kings and other characters) to indicate that God speaks. In the New Testament, we notice references and quotations from the Old Testament to affirm what God spoke under the dispensation of the Patriarch, the law, the Prophets and in the psalms. Jesus made some of these references as well as the disciples and Paul. The author of Hebrews gives a portrait of Old Testament worship with a New Testament outlook. (Aps. Dr. Stephen Kofi Baidoo)

I am the WORD of God John 1:1,14 [1]In the beginning the Word already existed.     The Word was with God,     and the Word was God. [14]So the Word became human and made his home among us... MARRIAGE Genesis 2:18,21-25 [18]Then the lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.” [21]So the lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. While the man slept, the lord God took out one of the man’s ribs and closed up the opening. [22]Then the lord God made a woman from the rib, and he brought her to the man. [23]“At last!” the man exclaimed. “This one is bone from my bone,     and flesh from my flesh! She will be called ‘woman,’     because she was taken from ‘man.’” [24]This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one. BUILDING A HEALTHY CHRISTIAN RELATINSHIP 1 Corinthians 14 [40]But be sure that everything is done properly and in order. 1 Thessalonians 4:4-5 [4]Then each of you will control his own body and live in holiness and honor— [5]not in lustful passion like the pagans who do not know God and his ways. The moment we started learning from childhood, was the time we were being prepared for marriage. Who we are, depends on our family from infancy. Don't zero inn (look) on one person, God knows you more than you know yourself therefore pray to Him to help you choose the right person. How can we know whom God wants for us? 1. We need wisdom in the period of our courtship, which He will give to you during this period of courtship. 2. When You Feel Like Quitting Sometimes quitting is the easy thing to do and at other times it’s the hard thing to do. When quitting is the easy thing to do, and it’s not what the Lord is advising, it can be challenging to find the motivation going forward. Remember when quitting looks better than it should: Then What? So you think quitting is the right idea? What are you going to do after quitting? If this is your dream we’re talking about, then something else will offer less meaning and purpose. Even if the next thing is also a dream, leaving your dream incomplete leaves something to be desired. People Want You To Quit Your competition wants you to quit, no doubt about it. The absence of your presence in a given space allows the competition to take what you’ve worked so hard to acquire. Other quitters want you to quit. Misery loves company and the more that join the ranks of the quitting club, the better. Don’t give them the satisfaction of stopping and throwing in the towel. Inspire O...

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DREAMS AND VISIONS It is not easy to draw a sharp line between dreams and visions, since some visions do occur when a person is sleeping. A man, being a tripartite being, consists of a body, soul and spirit. Dreams seem to emerge or develop more in the realm of the soul (the seat of the mind, emotions and the will), whereas visions are conceived within the spirit (conscience, intuition and the contact line) of the person. The spirit world never sleeps; therefore our spirit can interact with it while we are asleep. "Impacting Generations"
Our Race “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.” (1 Corinthians 9:24–25, NKJV) Whether we realize it or not we are all in a race—a race against time. From an eternal perspective, it is a very short time. “He remembered that they were but flesh, a passing breeze that does not return.” (Psalm 78:39, NIV) That is a very short time! The problem is we have to figure out what life is all about in that period of time, and make provision for the life in eternity. Whether we like it or not, we are all going to face eternity. In Heavenlymindedness, we constantly remind ourselves that everything we can see and touch is in the process of perishing. The above passage is a reminder that we are in this race against time, and it is important to make sure we are running for...
If you don't know who you are, you won't know what you want, neither will you know where you are going.
VISSIONS Vision is one’s ability to see. It can also be an individual or groups or organization plans for the future. This meaning comes forth to the ability to imagine or create a plan or idea for the future or make it occur. However, the spiritual meaning of the word ‘Vision’ is far deeper than the meaning given above. Biblically, a vision is a divinely inspired visual scene that is seen either during prayer, sleep or at a time when one is awake. Sometimes it is very difficult for the average human mind to comprehend. Through visions, god revealed to the seers….in pictorial form. They come under various forms;  In men’s waking hours-Daniel 10:7,Acts 9:7  By day-Acts 10:3  By night-Genesis 46:2 TYPES OF VISIONS There are two types of visions, these are;  The vision of the mind  Open vision
THE VISION OF THE MIND This is where the lord “projects” images and pictures unto the ‘screen” of our minds. This can be called a ‘sanctified imagination’ as an imagination that is under the influence of the Holy Spirit. THE OPEN VISIONS This is whereby one sees an image with the natural eyes. They occur when the visionary is alert, awake and aware of his physical surroundings. In open visions, men would be somewhere when suddenly they would be overtaken by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and then be “caught up”. (Revelations 1:10, Ezekiel 1:3, Ezekiel 8, daniel7:1-3)
Cortes, the Spanish conquistador, said, “We Spanish know a sickness of the heart that only gold can cure.” In heavenlymindedness, we would say, “We all have a sickness of the heart that only the Word of God can cure.”
As a Heavenlyminded thinker, we have several responsibilities regarding the Word of God; we need to READ IT, EAT IT, and LIVE IT, so HE WILL VISIT and PERFORM HIS GOOD WORD TOWARD US.
You are worth dying for, because I love you with no reason. I just love you. That's what Christ Jesus is saying to. you.
1Corinthians 2:9-12 [9]That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” [10]But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets. [11]No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit. [12]And we have received God’s Spirit (not the world’s spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us. NLT The Spirit of the Lord that dwells in you as a result of God's love, reveals all the deep secrets of God concerning you unto you today. "Impacting Generations"
The mind is a fertile field, whatever that is planted there germinates and gets rooted, it does not care what is being planted there, whether weeds, thorns, plants or trees.
One of the major keys to a successful life and with God is the mind, focusing your mind on whatsoever things tha are true, whatsoever things that are honest, whatsoever things that are just, whatsoever things that are pure, whatsoever things that are lovely, and whatsoever things that are of good report.
Life becomes meaningful and fulfilling when we find God’s purpose for our life, and we discover the works He has prepared for us to do. Then we can be full of zeal in living life. Have I discovered what God wants me to do? Am I zealous in doing it, realizing that I do not have an unlimited amount of time on this side of eternity?
When you download the wrong information into the Conscious (the mind), it is easy to delete it. But when it is downloaded into the subconscious (the heart), it becomes difficult to delete it. It has been installed on the hard drive. Why? Because, Proverbs  23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: KJV Therefore for you to delete and uninstall it from the hard drive (the heart / subconscious), you need a software = the Holy Spirit and the material = the Word. First, you get the material (the Word) into the subconscious, by constantly downloading it ie. Reading and meditating on it. From there the software (The Holy Spirit) is installed automatically, which then deletes and uninstalls all the wrong information from the subconscious (the heart / hard drive). In this our journey, we meet different obstacles, good one's, those we are not to meet and bad one's, they all leave a great mark on us. So is our life we meet different kinds of people, good, bad and those we are not to meet. When we make the mistake of meeting those we are not to meet, the worse things happen, that's why we are to always be praying for the people we know, we don't know but they know us, we are about to meet. One wrong turn, I had my face hit so hard that I got drowsy, bruised and hospitalised. Feeling pains all over, can't imagine when this will end. God is my strength. Such is life, a wrong move, lots of hits on your face.
My Son what I have to say to you is; everything under the sun is vanity, therefore, Whatsoever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor planing, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, where you are going. Also Live joyfully with the wife whom you love all the days of the life which God has given you under the sun, all the days of your vanity life: for that is your portion in this life, and in your labour which you take under the sun. And most importantly, Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. "Impacting Generations"

Marriage is a choice that you make, it is no a requirement by God. He doesn't choose your mate, but helps you to do so, by the wisdom He has given you, His word, His Spirit, His anointing, your parents and pastors.
Your wife isn't looking for a lover, she isn't looking for for a mate nether is she looking for someone to caress her, what she is really looking for, is a Father.
Eph 2:14 14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; KJV By the death of JESUS CHRIST every wall is broken.
DEUTERONOMY 18:20-22 20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. 21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken? 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him. There are some who are presumptuous and prophesy out of their own minds. Their prophecies would not be fulfilled. The Lord is saying, "You can mark them and not be afraid of them; that's just man speaking." "Impacting generations"
Nothing is as difficult, if we imagine it to be so. Everything is as urgly or beautiful, if we imagine it to be. Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. For they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. For you shall receive the promise after you have patiently waited. It really pays to wait.
Nothing about our lives takes God by surprise; even our mistakes doesn’t shock HIM because He’s made allowances for them.
As New Testament Christians, we need the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in our churches today. We should encourage every flame of fire that comes from God, but we also should realize that there are true and false gifts. There is no need to be afraid of the gifts of the Spirit just because some false elements have crept in. Once I was given some counterfeit money. I didn't throw away my whole billfold and all of my good money just because a little of it was counterfeit. I kept the genuine and threw the false away. Believers can learn to distinguish between true and false gifts. We don't need to be left in the dark concerning anything; the Bible gives us light! We're even told that we can judge prophecy and prophets. How? "By their fruits ye shall know them." Jesus warned against false prophets, saying, "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves" (Matt. 7:15)....
The Power of God’s Word “…So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11 NIV) No wonder the Scripture says, “Man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord” (Deuteronomy 8:3, NIV). God’s Word is powerful. Active. It accomplishes. Wherever it is sent, it prospers. To fulfill God’s purposes, we need more than material things. We need to absorb God’s Word. As we do so, we learn more about the mind of God and open ourselves to receive revelations He wants us to know and enjoy. Jesus says, “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63, NKJV). By His Word we are renewed inwardly. His Word is like discovering the treasure of treasures. “For whoever finds me finds life, and obtains favor from the Lord” (Proverbs 8:35, NKJV). This treasure...
Convictions are Key “Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.” (Scripture: Romans 4:20–21 NIV) Abraham is a prime example of one who was fully persuaded that God would perform what he had promised. That is conviction. Conviction was a controlling factor in Abraham’s life, and he ordered his life accordingly, experiencing the blessing of God. Conviction is a key component of faith. When a person lacks conviction, their faith wavers and the promises of God may not be fulfilled. Scripture tells us, “When you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord” (James 1:6–7, NIV). We must have the conviction that the Word of God is living and powerful, and that it works in those who receive and trust in i...
The Reward Factor “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” (Revelation 22:12–13 NIV) Jesus Christ is coming back to this world soon! Unfortunately, most people give no thought to the certainty of his return. But for Heavenly Minded thinkers, this passage is the MAJOR motivating factor in life. Jesus Christ is not only coming back, but he is bringing his reward with him. He is going to give to each person according to what he or she has done in this world. “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 3:11, NIV). “If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames” (1 Corinthians 3:14–15, NIV). We must be careful to make sure that Jesus...
